In 2022, Blockade was engaged to carry out a comprehensive demolition project at Garden Link in South Nutfield, Surrey. The project required the removal of hazardous materials and the complete demolition of the structure, including slab removal, to prepare the site for future development.
The project commenced with the safe removal of asbestos, a vital step in ensuring the site adhered to all health and safety regulations. Blockade’s skilled team handled this delicate process precisely, following strict industry guidelines to eliminate potential hazards.
Once the asbestos removal was completed, Blockade completed the total demolition of the existing structures. This phase involved carefully dismantling the building and ensuring all debris was managed safely and efficiently. In addition to demolishing the structure, the project also required the removal of the slab foundations, which was carried out using industry-leading techniques to ensure the site was fully cleared and ready for redevelopment.
